GardHouse volunteers are a team of passionate individuals from various backgrounds that are committed to our core values of achievement, integrity and DEI (diversity, equity & inclusion). Volunteers are essential to the professional development of our interns throughout the year. We encourage you to share your expertise, social capital and resources with our GardHouse interns (current college students).
The Resume Revamp is designed to enhance our interns' resumes as they seek to submit them for upcoming opportunities. During this virtual session, volunteers will work in pairs to provide suggested edits the intern should make to enhance their resumes.

Mock Interviews are designed to Get our interns "interview ready" by simulating an interview experience. Professionals will work in pairs to ask our interns interview questions and provide feedback to increase the intern's skills.

Individuals interested in identifying the best talent to join future GardHouse cohorts are invited to assist staff with the review of personal statements and meet with prospective interns during virtual interviews. Volunteers will be asked to submit a feedback form to identify students who will advance to final interviews.

Individuals passionate about helping students learn to dress for success and navigate the professional arena are asked to join us at our Pop-up Shop. Volunteers will provide a personalized shopping experience for each intern and assist with the collection of donated clothing items for interns to select.
Who:
Working professionals interested in serving on our planning committee or assisting during the event as a career stylist, greeter or cashier.
